Prior to cofounding the firm, Jason served as the President of Vector Disease Acquisition, a holding company that provides vector-borne disease prevention programs and lake management services. Under Jason's leadership, the company made 14 acquisitions and grew at a CAGR of 43%. Vector Disease Acquisition was acquired by Rentokil Initial (FTSE: RTO) in November of 2017.
Jason obtained a Master in Business Administration degree from Harvard Business School and a BBA in finance from the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Jason and his wife Danielle have four children and live in Longmeadow, MA.
Jay Davis

Caroline DiMatteo

Caroline DiMatteo is a Vice President at The Nashton Company, a holding company investing in recurring revenue services businesses. Nashton builds leading companies in niche markets over a very long period of time.
Caroline joined Nashton after graduating from Harvard Business School. Prior to business school, Caroline spent five years at Credit Suisse in New York. Most recently, she was a member of the Multi-Industry and Aerospace & Defense Equity Research teams. She started her career in Equity Sales covering Institutional Investors in the New York and Mid-Atlantic regions.
Caroline has an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School and a BA with Honors from Swarthmore College in Mathematics and Economics. Caroline lives outside of Philadelphia, PA with her husband, Bobby and their son.
Kaylyn Kavi

Kaylyn Kavi is a Vice President at The Nashton Company, a holding company investing in recurring revenue services businesses. Nashton builds leading companies in niche markets over a very long period of time.
Prior to joining Nashton, Kaylyn was an Associate at Vista Equity Partners, one of the largest American private equity firms focused on enterprise software, data, and technology businesses. Before Vista, Kaylyn worked as an investor at Stella Point Capital and at Barclays, in the investment banking division.
Kaylyn graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Finance and Global Business from New York University, Stern School of Business.

Nick Norcia

Nick Norcia is Vice President of Finance & Accounting at The Nashton Company, a holding company investing in recurring revenue services businesses. Nashton builds leading companies in niche markets over a very long period of time.
Prior to joining Nashton, Nick spent several years in corporate accounting, leading accounting efforts for multiple privately held companies, including Payment Alliance International, the largest privately held ATM portfolio management company in the U.S. He started his career in public accounting as an auditor at BKD.
Nick obtained a Master of Accountancy from the University of Kentucky and a BS in Accounting from Georgetown College. He also holds a Kentucky CPA license. Nick lives in Louisville, KY with his wife, Kelsey, and their three children.
CJ Jacobs
Senior Associate
CJ Jacobs is a Senior Associate at The Nashton Company, a holding company investing in recurring revenue services businesses. Nashton builds leading companies in niche markets over a very long period of time.
CJ joined Nashton after working as an Analyst at Maranon Capital, a middle market direct lending firm focused on private equity-backed transactions providing senior, unitranche, and mezzanine financing solutions.
CJ graduated with a BBA in Finance from the University of Notre Dame, and currently lives in Chicago, IL

Emily joined Nashton after working as an Executive Assistant at Lerer Hippeau in New York City.
She graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in hospitality management. Emily and her husband Andrew have three children and live in Nashville, TN.
Hannah Cohen
Operating Partner
Hannah Cohen is an Operating Partner at The Nashton Company. She is proactively working with the team to identify and source attractive, long term investment opportunities in recurring revenue services businesses. She will then take a leadership role.
Previously, Hannah led operations at Planet DDS, a dental SaaS company. During this time, she developed people and processes to support both organic and inorganic recurring revenue growth, resulting in an increase in valuation of over 9X. She has experience as a healthcare operations executive, and almost a decade of combat and noncombat leadership as a Marine Corps communications officer.
Hannah has an MBA with distinction from Dartmouth, and a B.A. with honors in politics, philosophy and economics from the University of Pennsylvania. Hannah and her husband Jonathan live in Northern Virginia with their three children.
Mike Ford
Operating Partner
Mike Ford is an Operating Partner at The Nashton Company, a holding company investing in recurring revenue services businesses. Nashton builds leading companies in niche markets over a very long period of time. Mike is proactively working with the team to identify and source attractive investment opportunities and to then take a leadership role in the companies in which Nashton invests.
Prior to joining the firm, Mike was the Managing Director of Lead-Out Advisors providing strategic, management, and operational consulting to privately-owned companies. Mike served as Vice President of Business Development and Strategy for BBA Aviation which provides aftermarket services in the business and general aviation industry. He joined BBA from United Technologies Corporation (UTC) where he held several executive and leadership positions. During his tenure at UTC, he was responsible for the worldwide business development activity for UTC Aerospace Systems, led and executed several large strategic deals, and had full P&L responsibility for several business operating units. Prior to joining UTC, Mike spent 14 years with Citigroup, Inc., where his last role was as Vice President in the Investment Banking Division.
Mike holds a B.A. degree in economics from the University of Illinois. He and his wife Chris have three children and live in Avon, CT.

Prior to joining Nashton and founding Tailwater, Ryan was CFO and Head of People at Bernard Health, a healthcare and HR technology firm. Prior to Bernard, Ryan worked at The Advisory Board Company and Huron Consulting in Washington, DC, where he helped hospitals improve revenue cycle operations.
He has taught as a lecturer and adjunct instructor of organizational development at Vanderbilt University and as a faculty member for the Tennessee Bar Association.
Ryan lives in Nashville, TN with his wife, Elizabeth, and their three children. He has a B.S. degree from Vanderbilt and an MBA from Yale.
Mychal Manolatos

Mychal Manolatos is an Operating Partner at The Nashton Company, a holding company investing in recurring revenue services businesses. Mychal is proactively working with the team to identify and source attractive investment opportunities and then take a leadership role in the companies in which Nashton invests.
Prior to joining the firm, Mychal held various roles in both small and large companies where he was responsible in driving the overall direction and strategy to ensure profitable growth. Most recently, Mychal was Vice President of SOLitude Lake Management and Vector Disease Control International (VDCI) where he was part of acquiring and integrating over 20 companies into both SOLitude and VDCI. Mychal has a strong passion for delivering world-class customer service as well as cultivating an exceptional employee experience.
Mychal holds a B.A. degree in hospitality management from the Michigan State University. He and his longtime partner live in the suburbs of Chicago, IL.
Chas Foote

Chas Foote is an Operating Partner at The Nashton Company, a holding company that invests in recurring revenue services businesses.
Chas is working to identify and source attractive investment opportunities and lead companies in which Nashton invests.
Prior to joining Nashton, Chas co-founded Heyburn Capital, the first credit-oriented investment firm focused on partnering with companies backed by Search Funds. Chas also has experience as a public markets investor at Dodge & Cox ($350bn AUM) and as an Analyst at Credit Suisse.
Chas earned an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and an Honors BS, summa cum laude, in Finance from the University of Utah. Chas grew up in a family of small business owners in Salt Lake City, UT, where he lives today.
